How It Started:
True Horizon began as nothing more than a simple idea on August 12th, 2025. At that moment, it was just a vision—something we were passionate about but hadn't yet seen take shape. But within a month, we took our first steps toward bringing that dream to life. We spent countless hours researching, planning, and sourcing the materials we would need to create our own line of unique cologne. Every bottle, every scent, every detail had to be just right.
We bought the supplies we needed and started experimenting with different fragrance blends, working tirelessly to perfect the scents. At the start, it was just us—handcrafting each batch and learning as we went. We knew that for the project to really succeed, we needed feedback from others, so we took to the streets of our town, speaking with people from all walks of life. We asked them for honest feedback on the scents: Which ones did they like? What could we improve? It was through these conversations that we began refining our formulas, adjusting the strength of the scents, and ensuring that each fragrance had its own distinct personality.
Two weeks later, after many rounds of testing and tweaking, we had perfected our scents. We were finally ready to sell. We decided to start small, selling to people in our school district—specifically targeting the athletic boys who were the most likely to appreciate a high-quality cologne. To our surprise, it sold even better than we expected. Word spread quickly, and before long, we found ourselves branching out to the entire school, offering our cologne to students, teachers, and staff alike. The response was overwhelmingly positive.
One week after our first batch sold out, we were faced with a new challenge: keeping up with demand. We quickly re-upped our supply and began preparing for the next stage of our journey. In that same week, we took a leap and created a commercial to help spread the word even further. We knew we needed something that would catch people's attention, something that would convey the essence of True Horizon—the feeling of confidence, adventure, and authenticity we were trying to capture in every bottle.
Fast forward to today, and True Horizon is no longer just a local project. We've launched our website, built a solid foundation, and gained a loyal following. The idea that started on a small scale has now blossomed into something much bigger than we ever imagined. We’ve come a long way from those early days of making small batches in our kitchen, but we’re still driven by the same passion that started it all.
